More Cousins!

We had just walked in the door from Ronan and I called my Mom to say we were home. She was cooking supper and having my other siblings over. So I took the kids down for a quick bite and one more cousin picture before Jess is off to Kiev again.

Once again Chase slept thru the entire party.

Our trip west

We went up to Ronan for a quick visit this last week. We hadn't been up to visit Rance's parents since Christmas so we packed up Wednesday night and headed out early Thursday morning. It was a long drive for poor little Miss Avery. Cade did pretty good as he was well entertained with his movies. Avery was not so impressed. We visited with Harlen and had supper with him on Thursday then went to spend the night at Larry and Dee's house. The kids were all worn out by the time we got them there.
The above picture is Avery with her Great Grandpa Johnny. Below is Grandma Dee with Cade, Avery and Shawna's two kids Kenzie and Sydney. It was hard to convince Cade to sit still long enough for a picture. This was taken Saturday afternoon.

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY CADE JUSTIN!!

Today is Cade's birthday!! Two years old. What a big boy and my how time flies. Sometimes it feels like we were just brought him home from the hospital, but here he is running, jumping, talking, eating by himself! Friday the 19th we had a big birthday party for all of the September birthday kids

Cade had a great time opening all his presents. He has been busy breaking them in all day today.

Grandma Pat made all of the kids their own little birthday cakes. Cade couldn't wait to dig into his in fact he did while we were singing them all happy birthday.

Avery was all dressed up for the party and even had on little party shoes. She had lots of people to walk her around so she was having a great time.

Cade figured out to catch a ride on Avery's walker. She found

it pretty funny for awhile then was mad at having to work so much harder to get around.

Rance's Birthday

Yesterday was Rance's birthday. I practised for a few days with Cade singing Happy Birthday and he had it down pretty good to sing it with me for his Dad. I surprised Rance with an ice cream cake and a few neighbors came over to help eat it. Including Jess and Keenan newly arrived from the Ukraine. Keenan looked pretty cute in Cade's cowboy hat and Cade drug out Rance's old sombrero.

This was the only picture I got of the birthday boy and it is kinda blurry!

Chase Clark and Aunty Bugs

Here finally is a picture of the little man with his favorite aunty. He looks a lot like his Dad! Carter seems to be enjoying being a big sister and a big helper. Avery wants to taste him and Cade just looks at him and says "baby"! Pretty cute! And no it does not make me want another one!

Happiness

Sometimes happiness is coming across a little pair of shoes in the middle of the kitchen. I sure love my little boy. It makes me warm and fuzzy inside when I look at his little shoes, shirts, pants, etc. I am so lucky to have such beautiful wonderful HEALTHY babies!

Congrats to Jami today. She finally had her baby boy. 8bs, 13 oz and 21 inches long at 7:14 this morning! Chase Clark Howell welcome to the world little one! Pictures to follow as soon as I can get some!

Cade

Tuesday was so beautiful out. A nice break in the cool rainy weather. We enjoyed the day with lots of time outside. Rance was home working around the house and my Dad came up for lunch so it was a fun day. Any day I don't have to work is a good one!

Vashti's Birthday

We were in the right place at the right time so we got invited to have ice cream cake for Vash's 13th birthday last night. Cade loved the ice cream cake and Avery loved all the attention! Happey Birthday Vashti!!

Playing Around

Cade thought it was a great game to play take a nap with Avery in the crib. Only of course he really didn't want to nap just play around. Avery was entertained with the whole game for awhile too only she really did need a nap. Cade was mad when I made him quit playing so I could put Avery down for a nap. Notice the bright pink highlighter Cade colored the sheets with above their heads

Cowgirl Avery

Here is Avery trying on her Dad's cowboy hat. She is looking pretty cute. She is feeling a lot better and sleeping better. Hooray. She still has a week of antibiotics though. Ick she doesn't like that too well!

Dogs and Corn

Jami brought over some hand me downs and it didn't take Cade long to spot the dog suit! He ran around in it saying "woof woof" for about ten minutes then was ready to move on to the next thing! Cade loves corn and is pretty glad he has enough teeth this summer to eat corn on the cob good.

Bathtime!

Avery is big enough to sit up good by herself in the sink for a bath. Another milestone! She no longer has to sit in the baby bathtub to get cleaned up! She was a little uncertain at first but quickly warmed up to the idea and had a pretty good time. Cade was even nice enough to let her have two of his bath toys!

Carter spent most of Friday morning and early afternoon with me and the kids. We went with Grandpa Mike to take some bulls out to the pasture and then came home and played run and scream while I vacuumed. Later Jami came over and we let the two big kids run through the sprinklers a little. Avery started running a fever early in the afternoon so I gave her a little tylenol. Turned out to be a long night with Avery being very fussy and running fevers so I took her in to the doctor in the morning. Cade got to go hand out at Grandma Debbie's house, which he was very excited about. He really likes to go to Grandma's house. Turns out little Miss Avery had a UTI. She had to get a shot in the leg (OWW!) and has to take oral antibiotics for ten days twice a day. SHe is already tired of those and it is even grape flavored! She is feeling much better except the antibiotics gave her diarrhea so all of Saturday night I was up changing poopy diapers. Last night it was better and we all got a pretty good nights rest!
