Shamrock Run

Jami and I did the Shamrock Run in Billings which is like the official kick off the racing season in Billings.  I got her some fun socks to wear too, and she is wearing them you just can't tell since she also felt like she had to wear pants.  The race felt GREAT although a little windy.  I was a little nervous for the run as the winter has been so long I feel like I haven't been able to run as much as I would have liked to. But I surprised myself and did even better than my time last year by 36 seconds so I was happy with that.  I won my age group and got 4th out of all the women overall. It was a 5k (3.1 miles) and my time was  22:15.  Jami did a great job also and ran the whole way.  YAY

The race was at 1 pm then I had to hurry home as I was having a party at 3! But it was fun and so was the party.

Sledding

We went sledding on the last Sunday in February and were so glad we did as the weather was finally beautiful and we had a great time without freezing our butts off. We had a great time although Rance and I managed to find some rocks that didn't quite agree with our sleds or our behinds.

We of course took along some refreshments along the lines of hot cocoa.

Cola also thought is was great fun as long as he didn't have to ride in the sled.

Decorating Easter Eggs

It is impossible to get everyone looking at the camera at the same time!

Everyone had their own egg stations with their names so there would be no fighting over who sat where and had what. It even worked, surprisingly there was no fighting!

Chase getting into the action with alittle help from his mom and Grandma.

Avery somehow had a purpple mustache before we even started.

Everett getting a little help from Grandma Debbie.

Cade's favorite part was the rabbit graspers I found so they didn't have to get their fingers in the egg dye.  They worked really good and the kids SHARED them, well and I did have two pairs.

Avery of course had pink as one of her colors.

Maybe next year Scarlett will be in on the action!

Everett had to taste test his.

EGGALICIOUS!
