Going to the Zoo

Playing around at the zoo.

Cade, Avery, and Keenan's favorite part of the zoo was the kids play area.

Jess and I took the kids to the zoo. All Cade really wanted to see was a giraffe. Needless to say ZooMontana lacks a giraffe. We did get to see the tiger and bear, and the wolverine was out playing around. Turned out to be a really nice day at the zoo.

Flying Kites

Flying kites with the kids wasn't too hard. I got the kites up in the air then handed them over to the kids. The wind was just right and the kites just stayed up in the air for quite awhile or until someone would let go. Then I would have to chase it down.

Avery of course has a pink kite.

Van was welcomed into the world on 4-20-10 at 8:13 in the morning weighing in at a whopping 8 lbs and 13 oz. Pretty handsome little guy.

I was feeling brave so I invited Jess, Keenan, Jami, Carter and Chase over to decorate Easter eggs. The kids had a great time and didn't manage to make too big of a mess.

It was really cold out but we decided to try some sledding anyway on the little hill on my parent's lawn. The kids lasted longer than I thought they would and we all had a pretty fun time.

After Jessica, Keenan, and Eric arrived in montana after the New Year we opened more presents with the cousins. We tried to get a picture of them all with Grampa and Gramma so dad biribed them with suckers
