Courtesy of Avery
I found these pictures on my camera. I had kicked the kids out of the house to play outside while the weather is still nice.
At least they had fun before they got in trouble and Avery got the proof all recorded.

Apple picking and play!
I took the kids apple picking today. It was the perfect fall day for it and the kids had a lot of fun climbing in the tree while I picked apples!
And they helped taste test a few!
I was enjoying all the pretty fall colors
Cade is becoming an expert climber and was very proud of himself.
More fall foliage colors.
Playing in the tree,
I tried to get a nice picture of the kids, this was the best they could do.
They managed to hook this small rope around a very small branch and swing from it. I was amazed the branch never broke.
Peekaboo!
A rare nice smile.

Cade's 5th Birthday Party, Carter's 6th
Lots of presents to open!
Not even her birthdyay but she sure did get spoiled too!
Cade really wanted a Candyland cake. He was so excited with the results!
Little Miss Scarlett!
Not sure what Avery is doing here, probably dancing!

Posing with Grandma Dee in their new sweatshirts.
Hard to believe 5 years have flown by so quickly! Cade is very picky about his jeans and will only wear them if they are Wranglers. He will also only wear Wrangler western shirts. He inspects them very carefully and will now inspect his Dad's too to make sure they are the right ones. He doesn't like to wear sweat pants anywhere except at home and is particular about his socks. I think he gets all that from his Dad. I recently entered them both in a kid race and they did so awesome. They were both super determined to win their races. I think they get that from me. They were both right in the front and I am pretty sure they both won their races.

We went up to Ronan Labor Day weekend for Kaytlan and Justin Danner's wedding. We had a great time and stayed in a hotel right on Lake Flathead. Nice!!
Grandpa Harlan with the grand kids after we took him out to a belated birthday dinner.
Lake Flathead
The kids all making good use of a hill.
Cade and Avery had a BLAST with Kenzie and Sydney. They were sad when it was time to leave and they wouldn't get to see them again for awhile.
Rance with the kids on the dock.
Playing at Grandpa Harlan's house
all that play makes for tired kids!

Playing in the Creek in the Hayfield
Due to 6 or so more inches of rain than normal earlier this spring we had a creek running through this hayfield this summer that I don't ever remember running. The kids had a lot of fun playing in it. It was the perfect size for playing in, not too deep, not too fast and not very muddy.
The kids were very impressed with this "beaver dam" and were disappointed not to find any beavers around.
Avery is learning to be a big ol ham whenever the camera is on her.
Trying to catch the little fish.
AH the long days of summer as a carefree kid!
