Aunty Linda has a big assortment of litle animals in the dining room and the kids couldn't wait to dig in the get to playing, but oh where to start!

Avery was eating a cupcake with two inches of bright blue frosting on it. My camera wouldn't focus so this was the best picture I got unfortunately, but she really liked that blue frosting. We had blue frosting everywhere, interestingly enough we continued to be reminded of blue frosting in her diapers for three days!! That's a lot of dye in the frosting!

Building Castles

Cade likes to build "castles" out of the books. Of course Avery sees this as something great to tear down. He also likes to line pillows up on the floor and build "bridges".

Water fun

Playing in the "bitty" pools as Cade calls them , on a hot day. Clearly a hit with the kids.

And I was wondering why all my flower pots were filling up with gravel!


It hasn't seemed to hurt the flowers any so I guess in the fall I will just empty the rocks out of the pots and start over next year.
