Sledding

 We went sledding on the last Sunday in February and were so glad we did as the weather was finally beautiful and we had a great time without freezing our butts off. We had a great time although Rance and I managed to find some rocks that didn't quite agree with our sleds or our behinds.

 We of course took along some refreshments along the lines of hot cocoa.

Cola also thought is was great fun as long as he didn't have to ride in the sled.

Cade and Rance were looking pretty cute in their similar attire.  Cade has been very happy to have a cowboy hat again.  Actually two as he got a black and a straw hat for Christmas.  He lost his last hat in Ronan last suummer and was a very sad cowboy because of it.

Avery loves her babydolls.  This is her newest one which is alternatly named Baby Scarlett and Julie.

Sledding

It was really cold out but we decided to try some sledding anyway on the little hill on my parent's lawn. The kids lasted longer than I thought they would and we all had a pretty fun time.

First snow of the season

Cade and Avery couldn't wait to get outside in the snow and make a snowman!

But it wasn't snow man snown and it was really cold and windy.

The horses didn't look very ridable!

Brrrr! Avery didn't even make one lap around the house and she was ready to go inside.

The Snow!

I know I know this is old news but I finally found my battery charger for my camera and have time to sit down and blog a little. What a great big snowstorm we had last weekend, Rance managed to get his truck and trailer stuck in the snow on Friday night and again on Saturday night so he was really over it. I didn't go anywhere from when I came home from work Thursday when the storm was blowing in until Monday afternoon a day after the storm blew out. The kids and I were tired of being cooped up in the house!
