Playing outside

We got a swingset from Matt and Landa Robbins after they moved and decided it was one more thing they didn't want to have to worry about moving. The kids have been having fun on the slide, though neither is big enough to use the swings by themself yet both are determined to go down the slide with no help.

Taking turns can be so hard to do, especially when you are having fun!

Eating cookies

The kids helped me make cookies today. Here they are enjoying the fruits of their labors. Their favorite part of it all was licking the bowl and the spoon while we waited for the cookies to get done. Cade is showing me his cookie. he wanted me to take a picture of it.

Avery learned this new face recently from Carter although since it has only really earned her laughs she has mostly quit using it for pouting and uses it to make me laugh. I think it is pretty darn adorable.

Avery loves to help in the kitchen and she loves it even more if I let her sit on the counter and help. Of course she thinks it is double great if her brother isn't also trying to help.

Playing at Everett's

Playing in the sandbox at Everett's house. The kids had a great time as evidenced by the massive amounts of sand they were covered in when they got out!

Eating supper together. They all shared off each others plates and when they were done, the dog went in and cleaned up the rest.

Combining

Wednesday Dad and Clint were combining just down the road from us so we all loaded into the combine with my Dad. It has a great buddy seat. It was fun to get to sit and visit with my Dad while riding around in the nice big combine. Avery however was over it after and hour or so.

Fairtime

we took the kids to the fair on Sunday. We went to the petting zoo, rode a couple rides, ate some fair food and ice cream and got out of there in 2 hours or so. Here we are on the horse carousal. My favorite was the big slide and least favorite was the spinning dragons.


Avery and Cade were both pretty bushed and slept all the way home and Avery slept until 6 the next morning. over 15 hours of sleep! Talk about a big time.
