Halloween

Cade originally was going to be a robot. I even made his costume, but when he discovered it was hard to sit in it he decided to wear last years Spiderman costume. Avery went as a butterfly princess though you can't see her wings because she didn't want to wear them after all!

TRICK OR TREAT!

Grandma Debbie the witch!

Great Grandma Pat's house.

The haunted get up at Grosskoffs. The kids thought it was pretty scary even though they got the tamed down version.

More Halloween

Face Painting

Jami had a lot of face paint left over from Halloween so she sent it over with her kids one day and we had some fun with it.

Cade is being a rodeo clown here. He thought the clown at the last rodeo we went to was really funny.

Avery on her butterfly princess theme

Carter just liked this design. Looks pretty cute on her!

I had fun with Chase's!

Preg testing cows

Cade and Polka Dot in the middle. Jami and Carter were also riding.

A little hay bribery for the cows to entice them in the right direction.

Cade before we left the house in the morning. He was very excited to go and ride with all the cowboys and cowgirls and chase cows.

A helpful looking bunch!

Not a good picture but this was us getting ready to leave the house at O Dark thirty so we could be there in time to sit on our horses and wait for it to get light enough to see the cows.

Cade Turns 4!!

Make a wish!

So hard to believe Cade is 4 years old. He was so excited for his birthday this year and all he wanted was a Buzz Lightyear.
..

Cade, Carter and Chase all had their birthday parties together again this year. We got about 30 helium balloons and the kids thought those were pretty great.

The pinata was also a big hit, everyone got to wack it quite a few times before it finally was cracked open.

'
Chase however didn't want to give up the pinata so we could hang it up to swing at it. He was pretty sure it was just for him. He turned 2 years old this year.

We had some foam stickers to decorate little barn scenes to keep the kids busy for awhile.

We also had an easter egg type treasure hunt, and cupcake decorating.

Tip

Rance and the kids were horsing around one night and Tip decided this was a pretty good place to check out the action from. He sat up here for quite awhile and watched them. He isn't supposed to be an inside cat, but he spends a lot of time in the house being packed around by kids. He is very adept at finding quiet place to sleep and Rance and I often find him sleeping on our bed, our coming out from under the bed stretching, sometimes we even find him in the basement.

Taking Advantage of the Weather

Rance was busy fencing off part of our hayfield so he could graze the horses on it this fall and the weather was beautiful so the kids and I decided to have a picnic and bring it over to Rance. We took the wagon of course and since Chase was visiting as well the kids had to take turns riding but they finally figured out how to all fit in the two seater.

Avery was clowning around and fell into the wagon.

Close up of Chase

Avery right before she fell in the wagon.

Cheese!

The fence going in.

Strike a pose.

Did I mention the weather was beautiful. The fall weather has really been great this year. I am so not ready for winter and snow and cold and bad roads and high heating bills, boo.
